Just Call Me "Nerd Queen"

So, Tooz sent me this quiz to determine my nerdiousity. I knew I was a nerd... but I didn't quite realize I was SUCH a nerd! Wow. Who knew the chick who baredly passed basic chemistry would grow up to be a science geek (I blame it on my current job. I have to do all kinds of things I never thought I'd have to do/remember).

See? Here's how much of a nerd I am:

NerdTests.com says I'm a Nerd Queen. What are you? Click here!

And, on another note, Happy Birthday to me today! I'm going to copy off Everett and declare that I am 29 for the third year in a row. Rachel took Jamie out shopping this weekend so he could buy me a present without me accidentally seeing what it was. That was very nice of her. Tonight, we're going to have a sit down family meal, and my birthday cake will be cheese cake with strawberries on top. Yummmmmmm! I'll be thinking of you all while I'm scarfing that creamy cheese cake down...NOT!

Big hugs and kisses to you all!

Shoot, Jenn, I forgot. Shame on me. I don't think I even have it written down! I'll fix that for this coming year, though, since I already have my 2008 calendar up and going. Love you--sorry I didn't get a card in the mail for you to get it today!

Hey, that's okay. It's not up to you to remember my birthday. But thanks for the thought, anyway.

Love you great big bunches!

I must admit, I was a little shocked by my results.

97% in Science/Math.
89% in Tech/Computer.
96% in SF/Comic.
99% in History/Lit.
30% in Dumb/Dork/Awkward.

The last result is the one that really shocked me. Because of it, I am considered a Cool Nerd God.

Oh yeah.

BTW, just for your information since they screwed it up, the proper nomenclature is SF instead of Sci-Fi.

Happy Birthday.

How would one worship a cool nerd God? Would we routinely sacrifice Star Wars action figures slipped inside a pocket protector on a to-scale model of the first PC made out of Legos? Or would we just have to give you the Vulcan "live long and prosper" sign (you know, that funky V-shaped thing with your hands) every time we see you? :-)

Happy Birthday a day late! Here's my music geekiness for you:

(*ahem*)

"So so la so do tiii...
so so la so re dooo...
so so SOOOO, mi do ti laaaa...
fa fa mi do re dooooooo!"

:-)

We can't sacrifice Star Wars figures; I think that would anger the Cool Nerd God. I think we would build a church using an Erector set and a soldering gun and offer former high school defensive lineman as a sacrifice.

We'd also have to swear off HP computers, get iPhones, and download the sermons from BitTorrent.

Wow! I've never had happy birthday sung to me in note-speak (or whatever you call that. Band was a long, long time ago!). Thanks!

And Becca, I'm all for the foreswearing of HP computers. I have one, and it's dead. Waiting for me to install a new platform and revamp it for Jamie's use solely for educational games. yeah, I'll get right on that... When I have time... When is that again? Oh, and thanks for the card yesterday! Did you get my return e-card?

What a Cool Nerd God would most prefer is for individuals to engage in ontological arguments on the existence of said Cool Nerd God. The idea of an entity encouraging others to debate the existence of said entity and by extension doubting the existence of said entity takes us down the road of self-referential analysis and rises the Cool Nerd God to the level of a meta-god. Godel, Escher, Bach deals extensively with these kind of self-referential components.

In fact, in order to prove the metaness of this comment, I am going to allow this very comment to develop consciousness.

The first time I took the test was at work, and it said I'd had taken it before (which I hadn't, but I know what my coworkers are doing on the network now!).

I just took it at home, and I'm a Technology Geek.

60% Science/Math
85% Technology/Computer
63% SF/Comic
57% History/Literature
45% Dork/Awkward
