Four Eyes!

Due to Jamie's ever-increasingly frequent headaches and not being able to see things I could (with my glasses on, of course), I decided an eye exam was in order. Sure enough, he needs glasses while at school, or while working on the computer/reading/knitting, etc. When he's just playing with his friends outside or during P.E., glasses are not necessary. Unfortunately, glasses are yet another item not covered by his insurance.

I like his frames. They're not spiffy and red, but they are very nice and look good on his face.

I don't have a picture of him in them yet, but he also has a pair of glasses that are a dark green. They really bring out the color of his eyes! (The store had a deal on 2 complete pairs for $99 - so I couldn't pass it up!)

And I agree that CJ's are very spiffy and red. Jamie almost got some red and black ones, but they didn't look as good on him.

He is so handsome. Good for you for catching the problem early, too!

Sometimes insurance policies really stink. We have SUPERB health insurance, certainly couldn't ask for better when it comes to hospital costs, prescriptions, doctor visits, but vision and dental are not covered and we desperately need both.

Jamie looks great in his glasses. Looks older, though, and that's not cool. Growing up too fast!

I'm still in denial about him being in middle school! He's getting too old, too fast!

It's so weird to look at pictures of Jamie in middle school. Here's my range of reactions: "looks like such a fun kid", "he's so handsome", "That's Jennifer's little baby!"
