Johnny, Helena and Tim, Oh My!

Okay, I'm excited now!  Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton are doing "Sweeney Todd:  The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"!  Coming January, 2008, to a theatre near you.  YES!

Tim Burton doing Sweeney Todd is a stroke of brilliance. I now have "Pretty Woman" running through my head.

Wow...that is HELLA cool! I've played the show at a local theatre in Lansing, but it'll be outstanding to have Burton's twisted genius bring this bad boy to life.

"He shaved the faces of gentlemen who never thereafter were heard from AGAIN!"

If you go to the IMDb, and search for "Sweeney Todd", there are two production photos of the film. I really like the one of Johnny and Helena together in what appears to be an attic. This film will be awesome!

Now if they could just get Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper to reprise their roles from "The Three Penny Opera" and put it on film, that would be fantastic!
