For a kid who's turned out as kind, thoughtful, and considerate as Jamie, I'd say you're probably a pretty good mom!Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10592037364998172190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23166489.post-4851542844055988182010-04-10T13:18:15.137-05:002010-04-10T13:18:15.137-05:00You also forgot the words "no good".You also forgot the words "no good".Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10592037364998172190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23166489.post-79149348821925572322010-04-09T13:39:44.808-05:002010-04-09T13:39:44.808-05:00We don't do easter baskets at all! Toby's one year pictures were when he was 11 months old (and there isn't one of him alone, just with the whole family) and Avery's 18 month pictures happened when she was more like 23 months. :)

(and I'm Tara, not Evan, just too lazy to sign out from his account and back in to mine, of course in the time it took me to type this...)Evanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16173438261924976156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23166489.post-33929602431816940712010-04-08T14:28:26.756-05:002010-04-08T14:28:26.756-05:00My family is the same way. When I read this, I thought, Hmmmm. I wonder when normal kids outgrow baskets. Since I suspect Brynna may be an old maid, I'll probably be giving her baskets in her 70's. And yes, I plan on living that long.Jessihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00777169606653222027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23166489.post-44487142837464946052010-04-08T14:13:26.178-05:002010-04-08T14:13:26.178-05:00Point of clarification: I'm going straight to...Point of clarification: I'm going straight to parenting hell because Easter baskets are given faithfully in my family, year after year. I have pictures of every sibling and I with our baskets, and have pictures of Jamie with an Easter basket for the years 1998 to 2009. This was the first year I had not done it. Not that it's required for all parents, but because it is traditionally done in my family and did not do it this year. I do not think any parent who does not observe an Easter basket tradition is a bad parent, just that I am because I didn't do it this year.Jenn-Jenn, the Mother Henhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01850119465505660438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23166489.post-54275976761899675642010-04-08T13:37:32.999-05:002010-04-08T13:37:32.999-05:00I didn't give CJ an Easter basket this year. ...I didn't give CJ an Easter basket this year. I dunno…you're fine. I sense (and empathize) with your guilt, but when it comes to chocolate: better late than never. You do a great (single) job…don't sweat the small stuff.Animalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14011608269211715910noreply@blogger.com
